Ring Around The Proverbial Loop.
Alright. What is it with this "loop"? It's always there. Under the radar. Lurking about. You rarely know its there. Except when you're not in it. That's right, the infamous loop that many of us have oh so often been left out of. That loop that just keeps us out. It scorns us and mocks us for not being in it. You all know what I'm talking about. We've all been left out of the loop at one point or another. We all know what it feels like to look around at your friends, wondering what the hell is going on.
"Why are they laughing?" "Is it at me?" "Did I do something?" "What's going on?" "I wonder how I can get that hot guy to take off his shirt..."
Ok so I guess the last one's just me... (and maybe a few others ;) lol) But in any case, we've all been there, and we all know what it feels like. We all know the feeling when that point goes right over your head.
*woosh*
Sometimes you can even feel the light brush of the wind graze the top of your head.
"Oh hey look. That was the point... Oh oh, there it goes."
And sometimes it's so far over your head, you didn't even know you missed it. That's when people end up laughing at you. The point is so far above your head, you're like a midget under the empire state building.

Hahaha I know just exactly what you're talking about. My loop is also accompanied by spastic bursts of paranoia - "Was that stupid? Are they laughing at me or with me? Did they not hear me or are they just ignoring me? Why are they ignoring me?" SHUT IT OFF!!!
